Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D animation suites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Optimize existing animation assets to ensure 60fps performance across devices and network conditions.
- Create complex SVG animations and manipulate the DOM efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate static assets into dynamic, interactive experiences.
- Develop reusable animation libraries and frameworks to be used across internal products.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers in best practices for animation and rendering.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, specifically focusing on 2D animation.
- Deep understanding of the Web Animations API (WAAPI) and CSS Keyframes.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and modern CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less).
- Experience with Canvas API and WebGL (Three.js or Pixi.js preferred).
- Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, spacing) and user psychology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex rendering issues.
