- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify emerging market opportunities
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing product concepts
- Analyze global tech trends and geopolitical shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental innovation frameworks
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and policy summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published work on 2025+ technology impacts (white papers, journals, books)
- Deep expertise in AI governance, sustainable tech, and human-machine collaboration
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation projects
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
