Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Partner with C-suite to integrate innovation into corporate strategy
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor talent in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership with proven 5-year+ impact
- Expertise in emerging tech (quantum, AI, blockchain, or biotech)
- Track record of launching products/services with $10M+ revenue potential
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies and stage-gate processes
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of 3+ innovation initiatives launched to market
