Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through patent analysis and startup scouting
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget with ROI-driven project allocation
- Publish industry thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurist or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering from Tier 1 institution
- Strong network within Silicon Valley venture capital and research ecosystems
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ technical professionals
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TF) or Innovation Management
