Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech AI
- Partner with VPs to integrate future technologies into product development pipelines
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Author industry-forecast publications and speak at global tech summits
- Mentor emerging technologists through our Horizon Fellows program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies (AI/quantum/IoT)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech architecture
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($5M+ value)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and competitive technology analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialized futuristic solutions
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
