Responsibilities
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Analyze emerging tech trends and disruption vectors to identify commercialization opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Build and maintain a global network of innovators and thought leaders
- Author quarterly white papers on technological paradigm shifts
- Advise product development teams on future-proof architecture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting tech market trends (3+ years preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audience experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in Austin or Texas tech ecosystem preferred
