Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological convergence for 2026-2030
- Design and prototype quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary research teams in biotech and nanotechnology
- Develop patentable solutions for climate-positive energy systems
- Present technological roadmaps to C-suite and venture partners
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging tech methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in R&D with demonstrated impact on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience securing $1M+ in government or corporate research grants
- Deep understanding of technological singularity implications
