Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze global tech trends across AI, quantum, bioinformatics, and Web3 domains
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Published research in emerging technologies (IEEE, Nature, or similar)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into commercial products
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
