Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) with 3-5 year impact projections
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies and their potential business implications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends with documented impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Published research or thought leadership in future tech domains
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
