Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps with 5-year strategic vision
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, Web3, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in partnership with MIT and Stanford
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Build and manage a network of industry thought leaders and academic pioneers
- Author white papers on future tech impact for global conferences
- Drive innovation sprints for next-gen product development
- Mentor junior futurists and tech analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends (examples: blockchain, generative AI)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementations
