You'll lead cross-disciplinary initiatives while collaborating with MIT-affiliated researchers and Fortune 500 partners to transform theoretical possibilities into market-ready breakthroughs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast disruptive tech trends through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Design strategic frameworks for AI-human symbiosis and quantum-integrated systems
- Lead R&D initiatives in neural interfaces and climate-positive technologies
- Develop patent-pending prototypes in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Present to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging tech adoption
- Author thought leadership for IEEE and Nature Futures journal
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 5+ years in tech strategy at FAANG or equivalent quantum/AI firms
- Published research in quantum machine learning or synthetic biology
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience securing DARPA/NSF grants for emerging tech
- Deep understanding of Web3.0 infrastructure and decentralized AI
- Portfolio of 3+ deployed futuristic tech solutions
