Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026 implementation across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Lead scenario planning workshops with stakeholders to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce annual '2026 Tech Horizon' reports with market impact analyses
- Manage a $2M R&D portfolio for experimental technologies
- Represent company at global futurist conferences (Davos, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures methodology
- Collaborate with patent team on IP strategy for emerging tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- 7+ years experience in tech strategy or innovation management
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ technology trends
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong understanding of quantum computing/AI ethics frameworks
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts to executive audiences
- Experience with patent strategy for emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating future-tech impact projects
