Responsibilities
- Scan global tech landscape to identify paradigm-shifting technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and climate-positive AI
- Lead R&D partnerships with MIT, Caltech, and emerging deep-tech startups
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board members
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring societal alignment
- Manage $10M+ annual innovation budget for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications on tech convergence trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics with 10+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record commercializing breakthrough technologies (quantum/neuro/AI)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary R&D teams across global markets
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio of implemented innovations with measurable market impact
