Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence) and their business implications through 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and organizational goals
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on future technology disruptions
- Build partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present future technology insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Advise product development teams on 5-10 year technology integration strategies
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting tech trends (2018-2023)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and foresight frameworks
- Exceptional data visualization and executive communication skills
- Published research or thought leadership in technology futures
- Fluency in futures analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
