Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 technology impact forecasts for C-suite and board review
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify emerging tech breakthroughs with 3+ year commercialization potential
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical AI integration in regulated industries (healthcare/finance)
- Facilitate innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create 2026-ready solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on quantum-biotech convergence and societal implications
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio for 2026-proof technology prototypes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5-year+ forecasting success
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI governance frameworks
- Published author in top-tier tech journals (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and Delphi forecasting techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating translation of futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or WFS)
