- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives on emerging tech disruptions
- Architect innovation frameworks for metaverse, bio-integrated computing, and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging tech domains quarterly
- Partner with R&D to prototype future interfaces and interaction paradigms
- Author thought leadership on 2026 technology adoption curves
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for future-state R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or spatial computing
- Proven track record of launching future-tech initiatives (2018-2023)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE Nature Technology Review or similar
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Futures Platform, Kedge)
- Deep familiarity with regulatory landscapes for emerging tech (FDA, FCC, ISO)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-tech commercialization projects
