In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative direction of our 2D projects, ensuring visual excellence, and mentoring a team of talented animators. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and artistic vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction and visual style for all 2D animation projects.
- Mentor and provide feedback to a team of 2D animators and motion designers.
- Collaborate with art directors and producers to define project timelines and deliverables.
- Optimize animation workflows and pipelines to improve efficiency and quality.
- Review final renders and animations to ensure they meet our high standards of production value.
- Conduct research on industry trends in 2D animation to keep our work innovative.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Proven leadership experience managing creative teams.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, and Toon Boom Harmony.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing character animation and storytelling.
- Deep understanding of color theory, timing, and squash and stretch principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or Fine Arts (preferred).
