Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D animations and interactions using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and CSS3.
- Optimize rendering loops and asset loading to ensure 60fps animations across all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma prototypes into production-ready, interactive web components.
- Create and maintain complex interactive charts and data visualizations using libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable JavaScript code following modern ES6+ standards.
- Debug complex animation timelines and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design system and animation libraries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong focus on 2D animation and interaction.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API and SVG manipulation.
- Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, or GreenSock.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex 2D motion graphics and interactive web elements.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.
