Responsibilities

- Conduct proactive risk assessments for AI systems across autonomous vehicles, healthcare diagnostics, and generative platforms
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic fairness, bias mitigation, and transparency protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical design principles into the ML development lifecycle
- Represent the company in industry coalitions and regulatory discussions on AI policy
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and monitor compliance across product launches
- Mentor data scientists and engineers on responsible AI practices through training programs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance
- Proven experience implementing ethical AI frameworks in regulated industries (healthcare/finance preferred)
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and evolving global AI regulations
- Expertise in bias detection techniques for large-scale ML models and datasets
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, Google's AI Principles)
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, legal, and executive teams
- Published research or white papers on algorithmic accountability or explainable AI
