Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI/quantum systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on AI models
- Develop transparency protocols for automated decision-making processes
- Create compliance strategies for evolving AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees and stakeholder engagement
- Document ethical risk assessments and mitigation plans
- Advise product teams on ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years in AI governance, ethics compliance, or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act)
- Strong understanding of bias mitigation techniques in ML systems
- Experience developing organizational ethics policies
- Excellent written/verbal communication with technical/non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI)
