Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies across all product lifecycle stages
- Conduct risk assessments for AI deployments using proprietary ethical impact matrices
- Lead cross-functional committees to resolve ethical dilemmas in algorithmic decision-making
- Establish transparent audit trails for AI training data and model validation processes
- Advocate for ethical AI standards at industry conferences and regulatory forums
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI governance frameworks
- Train engineering teams on bias mitigation and fairness-in-AI methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, risk management, or ethics compliance
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI regulatory landscapes
- Proven experience conducting bias audits for machine learning systems
- Strong background in data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts
- Published work in AI ethics or related academic journals preferred
