As a key member of our Future Technologies Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers to transform theoretical concepts into production-ready infrastructure. You'll work in our state-of-the-art San Francisco lab, equipped with quantum processors and neuromorphic computing arrays.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI infrastructure solutions for 2026-scale computing challenges
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Optimize neural network deployment across distributed edge-to-cloud ecosystems
- Implement zero-trust security frameworks for AI-powered autonomous systems
- Architect energy-efficient computing solutions achieving 1000x performance/watt gains
- Define standards for next-generation data pipelines processing petabytes/sec
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging hardware acceleration techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years designing high-performance computing infrastructure
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or photonic processors
- Proven track record with exascale computing frameworks (Slurm, LSF, PBS)
- Deep knowledge of federated learning and distributed AI training
- Certification in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Experience with carbon-neutral computing initiatives
