Job Description
We are seeking a visionary AI & Quantum Systems Architect to lead our Research and Development initiatives for the 2026 horizon. At Nexus Horizon, we are building the foundational infrastructure that will define the next decade of human-computer interaction.
As we approach the technological threshold of 2026, we need a leader who can architect scalable, secure, and efficient systems at the intersection of artificial intelligence and quantum mechanics. You will be responsible for designing the roadmap that transitions our current infrastructure into a future-ready quantum-classical ecosystem.
Join us in shaping the future of computing and solve problems that were previously thought impossible.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of hybrid quantum-classical computing systems to optimize processing power for 2026 workloads.
- Develop and deploy advanced machine learning algorithms tailored for high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and engineers to define the technical vision for our 2026 release cycle.
- Implement robust security protocols and encryption standards for distributed AI networks and quantum data transmission.
- Oversee the migration of legacy monolithic systems to next-gen, microservices-based cloud architectures.
- Conduct deep research on emerging technologies, including neuromorphic computing and synthetic data generation.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or high-level research roles.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or similar).
- Deep understanding of machine learning models, neural networks, and stochastic processes.
- Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of leading high-stakes technical projects with a focus on scalability and security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
