Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI algorithms for quantum-enhanced machine learning systems
- Lead research initiatives in explainable AI and ethical autonomous decision frameworks
- Collaborate with robotics teams to deploy AI solutions in physical environments
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Develop patents for proprietary AI architectures and optimization techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Quantum Computing, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in neural network architecture design
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Publication record at NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR or equivalent venues
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Experience with neuromorphic computing systems (Loihi/IBM TrueNorth)
- Strong background in reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contracts
