Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-inspired neural network architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing adaptive AI systems that self-optimize in real-time environments
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, Nature AI)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design AI-optimized quantum computing interfaces
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems with explainable AI components
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing production-level AI systems with published top-tier research
- Expertise in quantum machine learning, federated learning, and neuromorphic computing
- Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Track record of leading projects with $1M+ budgets and 10+ person teams
- Strong patent portfolio (3+ AI-related patents preferred)
- Experience securing government research grants
