Responsibilities
- Architect and implement novel AI algorithms for next-generation autonomous systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems
- Author breakthrough research papers for top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in leading scientific journals
- Secure research grants from DARPA and other government innovation programs
- Develop ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment in critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and quantum computing
- Track record of publishing at NeurIPS/ICML with >50 citations per paper average
- Mastery of distributed computing systems and high-performance GPU architectures
- Experience securing federal research grants ($1M+ value preferred)
- Strong background in AI ethics and bias mitigation frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
