Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and stakeholder interviews to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements and processes.
- Create and maintain detailed functional requirement specifications, user stories, and process flows (UML, BPMN) for software development projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business clients and the IT development team, facilitating clear communication and minimizing misunderstandings.
- Design and execute test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation scenarios to ensure delivered solutions meet quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Translate complex data sets into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a software development environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience querying relational databases.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
