Key Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in defining system requirements and optimizing business workflows. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Conducting thorough stakeholder interviews to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and needs.
- Creating detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD) to guide development teams.
- Facilitating workshops and requirements gathering sessions to translate complex business goals into technical specifications.
- Mapping current state processes to future state designs and identifying opportunities for process automation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and project managers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding system changes and project updates.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or technology environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of managing the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) from requirements gathering to implementation.
