Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough stakeholder interviews to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for complex projects.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps, use case diagrams, and user stories to visualize business workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of business issues, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, functional specifications, and system requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and management to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Testing & QA Support: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans, execute user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Reporting: Develop and present executive summaries and dashboards to communicate project status and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience with JIRA or Confluence is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites or meetings as needed (up to 10% of the time).
