Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and document analysis to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to define project scopes and deliverables.
- Create detailed user stories, use cases, and wireframes to visualize system functionality and improve user experience.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process optimization within the organization.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system requirements, test plans, and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a part-time or contract capacity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) for data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
