Job Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective software solutions. Your insights will drive our strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps, use cases, and user stories to ensure clear understanding of system functionality.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and non-technical business units.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Reporting: Produce regular reports on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar requirements management tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying risks and solutions.
