Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for software and system solutions.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement, translating them into actionable business insights.
- Documentation: Create clear, concise, and accurate documentation, including user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the IT development team, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate existing business processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Agile Collaboration: actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a strong plus.
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with requirement management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or MS Visio.
