Role Overview:
As a Corporate Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our market penetration strategies. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, mentor junior sales representatives, and collaborate closely with marketing to ensure our value proposition resonates with the Kansas City business community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Manage a high-volume pipeline of B2B prospects, conducting needs assessments and presenting tailored solutions.
- Mentor and coach a team of sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers in the region.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales tactics and product positioning.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and detailed performance reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in corporate sales, preferably within the B2B sector.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a commission-based environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a 'hunter' mentality and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Kansas City metro area.
