- Lead a multidisciplinary R&D team in prototyping AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through compelling ROI projections
- Translate emerging technologies into scalable product roadmaps
- Present future tech vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor talent in emerging tech domains (Web4, biocomputing, neuromorphic systems)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ in R&D/innovation management
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and academic circles
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants preferred
