Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Create and articulate a comprehensive strategic roadmap for the company's technology trajectory leading up to the year 2026, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Identify and prioritize emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing, Advanced AI, Sustainable Tech) for pilot programs and long-term investment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to translate high-level strategy into actionable development cycles.
- Market Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into industry trends to predict market shifts and regulatory changes affecting the tech landscape.
- Stakeholder Management: Present complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and secure buy-in for major capital expenditures.
- Talent Development: Build and mentor a team of futurists and technology strategists within the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within the technology sector, with a proven track record of strategic planning.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think 5-10 years ahead and define long-term product roadmaps.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of current and emerging tech trends relevant to 2026 (AI, Cloud, Blockchain, etc.).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
