Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the creation of a comprehensive technology strategy that anticipates market shifts and technological milestones for the year 2026 and beyond.
- Emerging Tech R&D: Spearhead research and development initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Readiness, and Web3 to ensure NexGen remains ahead of the curve.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and evaluate emerging technology vendors and partners to integrate scalable solutions into our core architecture.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performance team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Investment Analysis: Assess the viability of new technologies and make data-driven recommendations for capital allocation in future tech stacks.
- Compliance & Ethics: Establish frameworks for ethical AI usage and data security in preparation for future regulatory landscapes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or technology strategy with a track record of leading large-scale digital transformations.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to look beyond current constraints and design scalable, future-proof systems.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), AI/ML fundamentals, and the potential impact of quantum computing on modern infrastructure.
- Leadership: Strong executive presence with experience managing cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
