As a Future Tech Lead at Nexus, you will bridge the gap between visionary product strategy and technical execution. You will be responsible for setting the technical roadmap for our flagship products, ensuring scalability, and fostering a culture of innovation within a world-class engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical vision for the 2026 product cycle, aligning engineering capabilities with business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a diverse team of senior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Architecture Design: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems using modern cloud-native architectures.
- Innovation Implementation: Identify emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Edge IoT) and integrate them into our product suite to maintain a competitive edge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Code Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce best practices for code review, testing, and deployment to ensure software reliability and security.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for top-tier engineering talent to support our rapid growth trajectory.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices architecture.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading engineering teams through complex projects and navigating technical challenges.
- Programming: Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Go, Java, or Rust, with a strong grasp of software design principles.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
