Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI and bio-integrated systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in Web4 and decentralized networks
- Produce forward-looking impact assessments for climate-positive tech implementations
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for high-potential moonshot projects
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 tech trends
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning or emerging tech consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AR/VR ecosystems, or neurotech
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's R&D communities
- Published research or patents in future-facing technologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (preferred)
