- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate theoretical concepts into market-ready solutions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in emerging tech or peer-reviewed industry foresight
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation bodies
- Proficiency in futures analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation cycles
