Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026+ horizon) and assess commercial viability for enterprise adoption
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotech solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical capabilities with business objectives
- Build financial models for R&D investments in future-facing technologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory landscapes affecting emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for R&D investment decisions
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
