Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) and assess enterprise viability
- Develop strategic frameworks for technology adoption and integration
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technology impacts on business models
- Manage a $5M innovation budget for pilot projects and R&D partnerships
- Present quarterly technology foresight reports to the board of directors
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology ROI and innovation maturity
- Mentor a team of 5 technology futurists and analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management
- Proven track record implementing emerging technologies at scale
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Certification in Strategic Innovation Management (SIM) or equivalent
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
