- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in biotech-adjacent computing and neuromorphic systems
- Develop patent portfolios for next-gen human-machine interfaces and synthetic biology applications
- Forge strategic partnerships with national labs and Fortune 500 innovation teams
- Translate complex scientific breakthroughs into commercializable product frameworks
- Advocate for ethical AI governance frameworks in global policy forums
- mentor PhD researchers in applied quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Quantum Engineering, or equivalent field experience
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy with 3+ years in quantum/AI leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science on scalable quantum computing architectures
- Proven track record of launching $50M+ tech ventures from concept to market
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 AI management systems and NIST quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of DARPA and NSF technology transfer ecosystems
- Fluency in Python, Q#, and TensorFlow Quantum for prototyping
