Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and decentralized systems
- Develop strategic 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic innovations into core offerings
- Establish governance protocols for ethical AI adoption and responsible tech deployment
- Represent the company at global tech forums and shape industry discourse
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proof development methodologies
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic chips, or Web3 infrastructure
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Experience securing government/venture funding for experimental projects
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent
