- Develop commercialization strategies for lab-to-market innovations
- Partner with VCs and academic institutions to identify breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing lab-scale innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong financial modeling for tech ROI assessment
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
