Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and market analysis for 2026+ innovations
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption and commercialization
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough projects and allocate resources
- Build stakeholder relationships with VCs, academic institutions, and industry leaders
- Create forward-looking roadmaps aligning tech capabilities with business objectives
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching tech products/services with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech and venture capital ecosystems
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Machine Learning, Google Quantum AI) highly valued
