Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications for 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present technology insights to executive leadership and investors to drive decision-making
- Identify potential partnerships and acquisition targets in emerging tech sectors
- Monitor global tech policies and regulations affecting future technology deployment
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Track record of successful technology commercialization or product launches
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy preferred
