Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (2026-2030)
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with market opportunities
- Secure strategic partnerships with quantum computing labs and AI research institutions
- Present innovation strategies to executive leadership and investor forums
- Manage cross-functional R&D projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Anticipate regulatory impacts on emerging tech ecosystems
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech commercialization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, climate tech, or biotech
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or partnerships
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research institutions
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
