Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market disruption
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy trends and regulatory shifts affecting emerging sectors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research laboratories
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning within tech, consulting, or R&D environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives from concept to market
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation (e.g., from DaVinci Institute)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology strategy deliverables for 2025+ timeframes
