- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic research labs and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage a $2M+ innovation portfolio for future technology exploration
- Mentor technical teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, technology radar)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in future technologies
- Certification in innovation management or technology strategy preferred
