Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, neurotech) defining 2026-2030 landscapes
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive intelligence to inform corporate innovation strategy
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework with 18-month predictive modeling
- Partner with R&D teams to commercialize breakthrough technologies and accelerate time-to-market
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and manage ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Oversee development of ethical guidelines for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep understanding of technology convergence patterns and disruptive innovation models
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, MIT Professional Education)
